Walk-In Clinic Accessible, free and timely children’s mental health services

Crossroads Children’s Mental Health Centre walk-in clinic provides free, quick access to services for families seeking help for their infant, toddler or child’s severe social, emotional and behavioural challenges. No referral is required.

Walk-in clinic participants may access a counselling session where our experienced, professional staff help identify issues and equip families with tools and strategies to address their concerns.

Do you have concerns about:

Your child’s behaviour?
Your child’s emotional state?
How your child is managing through this COVID-19 situation?
A family conflict?
Other parenting issues?

The focus of each walk-in session is determined by your family’s unique needs. Our goal is to help generate solutions to address your concerns and leave you feeling reassured.

Who can participate:

Crossroads’ services are available to children under the age of 12 and their families. You can join as a family, as a parent or you can support your child to participate on their own.

Please note:

  • To participate in the walk-in clinic you must reside in Ottawa
  • We are required by law to inquire about custody arrangements. In the event of joint custody, both legal guardians must agree to the caregiver and/or the child being seen at the clinic as the file is opened in the child’s name.  Please contact us if you have any questions:  613-723-1623 ext 232.
