Mental Health Services for Children in Ottawa Under the age of 12

Child and Family Therapy

Child & Family Therapy

From time to time, children can struggle with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties, such as: aggression, impulsivity, problems with social skills, anxiety, sadness, fear, and suicidal thoughts. Our team of child and family therapists is there to help.

In a safe and confidential environment, the therapist builds a relationship with the child and family.  Listening attentively to their concerns, the therapist supports the child and parent/caregiver to problem-solve and build skills to stabilize or improve a situation that is getting in the way of engaging with their daily life. Services are offered by registered social workers or psychotherapists
