Bingli loves working with numbers and has been at Crossroads since 2015. She's patient, easy going, and loves to smile. She loves to travel, shop, and spend time with her young daughter and husband. She hopes to travel around the world someday!
Michael loves all genres of music and is an avid reader. He has been at Crossroads since it began in 1995 and has held most positions within the organization related to client services. He is currently the Executive Director. Michael is passionate about ensuring all families can access the best service for their children. Outside of work you will find him fishing at a lake. |
Kaitlin received her Bachelor of Applied Arts in Behavioural Psychology in 2011 and has worked in the home-based program at Crossroads since 2012. Kaitlin loves spending time with her two young children at her home in the country.
Vanessa has worked at Crossroads since 2018 and is passionate about providing support to children and families. She is an avid baker, reader, and nature lover. Being outside, chasing her two young children around, is where she's happiest!
Ian is passionate about sports and the outdoors, but his real passion is helping children. Ian has worked at Crossroads for over 30 years, in many different roles, and is currently a manager.
Susan's passion from a young age was to be able to work with children & families. She is involved with intake, groups, and the walk-in clinic. Outside of work, Susan is in her happy place when she is organizing and decorating her home.
Yvonne is a fun-loving person who is very outgoing and approachable. She loves to shop and dress up. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and travelling. She’s very respectful, laughs a lot and tries not to take life too seriously. She’s been with Crossroads since 2018.
Fueled on dark chocolate and copious amounts of coffee, Natasha is passionate about building community and a system of care where children and families can thrive. Outside of work you will find Natasha running on the lovely Ottawa canal and after her three free-spirited children.
Kendra is a compassionate, active, busy mom of 3. She has worked at Crossroads for over 12 years, currently in Day Treatment. She enjoys getting to know students and helping them to use their strengths at school. Outside of work Kendra can be found at the gym and spending time with friends and family.
Sandie has worked at Crossroads for 20 years. She works with the Leadership Team and the Board of Directors. When not at the office you’ll find Sandie speed walking all over Kanata.
If Sharon isn’t sharing her many years of expertise (we won’t say how many) with the School Based Mental Health community you will likely find her adding to her beautiful backyard oasis flower gardens, perfecting her left golf swing, or playing with her grandchildren!
Julie is a nature lover, spouse and mother. She’s been with Crossroads since 2013 and is passionate about children’s mental health. Julie loves walking her dog and feeding the birds at her cottage.
Toni appreciates art, architecture, & classic movies. She is an avid baker and chef, but when not in the kitchen she is busy juggling the active lifestyles of her two children.
Tanya has worked at Crossroads since 2006 and loves helping families move to a calmer and more stable place. She has a love of old things with stories to tell. When not at work you’ll likely find her at a garage or estate sale.
Cara has worked in child and adolescent mental health since 2006. She is a Registered Social Worker and Certified Practitioner in Collaborative Problem Solving. Cara joined the Crossroads team in 2011.
Kirsten loves to be outside playing soccer, camping, or reading a good book. She has been with Crossroads since 2018 and finds working with children and their families very rewarding. Outside of work you can find Kirsten enjoying bonfires and going ATVing.
Lynn has worked at Crossroads since 2016. Apart from her love of numbers, she is a shoe collector and avid traveler.
Marina has been at Crossroads since 2015. Her friends often describe her as fun, caring, and LOUD. When not at work you’ll find Marina playing board games, enjoying fresh air & green spaces, or at a BBQ with her family.
Isabelle is a dog lover, book aficionado and perpetual learner. She is passionate about helping children & families to thrive. When outside of work you’ll find her walking in the forest with her family and Ivic, our therapy dog.
Ivic attends our Wednesday walk-in clinic and provides emotional support to waiting visitors. He is from Guide Dogs Canada and is fully trained to work with children. He also occasionally works with adults in therapy sessions. Thank you to Isabelle MacNider for sharing him.
Kellie prefers yoga to running a marathon, and prefers Patsy Cline to Katy Perry. She is passionate about sharing her 30+ years of experience with families. She is most proud of her family.
Jackie is a registered social worker and has been with Crossroads for over 10 years. Outside of work she spends her time in the garden, walking in forests, or cooking and baking in the kitchen.
Tara has experience in several Crossroads programs. She is currently a Senior Child & Youth Worker, does intakes, and is a member of the mental health walk-in clinic team. |
When it comes to mental health, Ashley is passionate about early intervention. She is a nature lover and enjoys spending time with her two children and her family.
Michelle enjoys hiking, fishing and being outside. She has been working in the field of child & youth mental health for 9 years and has been a home-based worker at Crossroads since 2017. Outside of work you’ll likely find Michelle on the water, enjoying the weather and hopefully catching some fish. |
Sharon is the mother of 3 amazing children who are kind, charming, athletic and totally awesome. When not at work you can find her at a rink, soccer field or gym cheering on her kids (sometimes with a cow bell).
Kyla has been at Crossroads since 2001 and has worked in most programs in the agency.
Sean has been with Crossroads since 1995. He currently works in our School Based program.
Penny is a Child & Youth Worker in the Day Treatment Program and has worked at Crossroads since February 2010.
